The council has been made aware of concerns being expressed with the increased number of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) who are breaching the weight restriction notices and travelling through the village.
In order to ensure that appropriate action is taken against the drivers and/or their company, we need to be able to report such incidents to the appropriate authority.
It would therefore greatly assist the council if anyone witnessing such breaches could take a note and provide the council with the following information which should be email to the Parish Clerk at clerk@mearsashby.org.uk

Company name (if displayed on vehicle)
It should be remembered that HGV’s are permitted to enter the village in order to make deliveries or collections.
